The Watson School District, located in Watson, Desha County, Arkansas, was consolidated with the Desha Central School District (Rohwer) in 1972 to form the Delta Special School District (Rohwer). The Desha Central School District, located in Rohwer, Desha County, Arkansas, was consolidated with the Watson School District in 1972 to form the Delta Special School District (Rohwer). The Arkansas City School District, located in Arkansas City, Desha County, Arkansas, was consolidated with the McGehee School District in 2004. The mascot was the River Rats and the school colors were Green and White.
