The Big Flat School District, located in Big Flat, Baxter County, Arkansas was consolidated with the Fifty-Six School district to create what was known as the Tri-County Consolidated School District in 1985. The mascot was the Wildcats. The photo to the left depicts the Big Flat/Tri-County gymnasium in the present day.

The Tri-County Consolidated School District, located in Big Flat, Baxter County, Arkansas was dissolved in 1993. It was comprised of parts from three counties; Baxter, Searcy, and Stone.
